ScreenJet content management system (CMS) is a powerful software solution which is a result of several years of our work in web development and creation of large websites with regularly updated content.
ScreenJet is designed for managing sites that combine a lot of content and complicated functional features. The main advantage of using the system is simplifying content publishing and updating and opportunity to delegate this job to company's own personnel (instead of web development company). As a result, information on the site is updated much faster while support costs are significantly reduced.
Site content and interactive features are managed through convenient administrative web-interface which does not require from administrators having programming or hypertext coding skills, working with files by FTP — ability to work with popular office programs is enough.
ScreenJet's main features:
- convenient tools for working with documents. Visual editor helps to create pages containing formatted text, tables, images, links etc. Ability to create documents from existing templates and preview function additionally simplify administrator's work;
- site structure management. Site's content pages and functional modules are integrated in one structure. Administrators can create, edit, move, rename, hide or show, change order of particular pages or whole site sections, adjust navigation. Menus and sitemap are created automatically.
Additional features:
- multilanguage support allows to create several language versions of the site;
- team work support. Site can be managed by several administrators (editors) with access privileges set individually.
ScreenJet software has module structure. The following modules can be included in the system:
- News. Working with news articles (including visual editor), automatic conduction of one or several news sections on site, news archive, news announces for newsletter subscribers;
- Maillist management. Subscription management for unlimited number of newsletter topics. Newsletter creation and distribution. Subscribers can manage their newsletters set themselves on special site section;
- File storage. Files on the server (price-lists, product descriptions, technical specifications, advertising materials etc.) are managed through web-interface. Links to the files can be easily placed on site pages, included in newsletters.;
- Forums. Administration of unlimited number of forums on site. Moderation. Discussion threads can be displayed as message lists or trees. Messages and threads can be moved and re-organized.
- Site banner system. Demonstration of banners advertising own materials or other sites on the website's pages.
- Search engine. Full-featured website search.
- Print version of site documents. Printer-friendly version of web-pages are created from special template.
The number of standard modules is constantly growing, the existing solutions are modified and improved. The system's architecture allows to include new, individually developed modules in it: complicated product catalogs, e-commerce features, information converters from the formats already in use (MS Excel as an example) etc.
Many service functions such as archivation, administrator's authorization system, meta-tags management are included in the system by default.
